Sourcing OEM replacement legs from the manufacturer would have cost more than the oven’s total value, threatening to turn a simple upgrade into an expensive nightmare.
The Solution: Custom Engineering & Fabrication
Instead of overpaying for factory parts, we took it to the shop. We designed and fabricated a custom, heavy-duty welded steel stand tailored specifically for this unit. By using thick-gauge steel and precision welds, we provided a base that isn’t just a perfect fit—it actually exceeds the structural safety margins of the original factory setup at a fraction of the cost.
The Relocation: Freeing Up the Line
The project didn’t stop at the stand. To maximize kitchen efficiency, the client wanted to move the oven out from under the main hood to free up premium cooking space. We executed a full relocation that included:
- Precision Gas Fitting: Running a new dedicated gas line to the oven’s new home.
- Core Drilling: Precision coring through the exterior wall for a clean, permanent exit.
- Direct-Vent System: Installing an approved power-venter and proper venting to ensure the unit exhausts safely and maintains high thermal efficiency outside of a traditional hood.
